“SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK” quilt
You've seen it in the shop, now wouldn't you like to see it in your own home? This seemingly complex quilt is actually quite simple, using basic squares and right triangles, with no curves or set-in seams.

SEWING SKILLS 101
This series of three projects will introduce or review basic skills of machine sewing. They may be taken individually, but the first is required as it will go over how the sewing machine works and what you need to know about needles, threads, stabilizers.

QUILTER’S ACADEMY
(for beginners through experienced quilters)
A skill-building course to master the process of quilting, including accurate cutting and piecing, pressing for success, creating an efficient sewing space, collecting fabric, drafting and laying out quilts, and preparing a quilt for finishing. Demonstrations, instruction by the teacher, class discussion, work in the classroom, as well as homework (most of sewing to be done at home) to build four small quilt tops. This class is guaranteed to raise your skill level!

NORTH AMERICAN MYSTERY TOUR
Visit exciting destinations without leaving the comfort of our classroom. Create a quilt at each stop along the way. All you need to do is pack your (sewing) bag -- sewing machine, tools and, neutral piecing thread, and the Stitch Tour Company will do the rest. (Next stops TBA)
1st Stop: Minnesota for a Mystery in the North Woods, We'll begin by cutting our pieces, break for lunch and then sew until the mystery is revealed. may . You must make your reservation and buy your ticket by January 16th. We have a limit of 8 passengers on this tour.

INTRODUCTION TO FUSIBLE APPLIQUE
If you've always wanted to try a fusible appliqué project, but haven't yet worked up the nerve, this is the class for you! Decorate a cute dish towel while you learn the basics. You will then have the skills for a more detailed project.

FOUR HARNESS WEAVING
An introduction or review to the four harness floor loom, this series ( by project) will cover plain, twill and pattern weaving in cotton and other yarns. Some knowledge is desirable but not required. STUDIO TIME is required to weave in between lessons.

Party Plan
Tupperware is handy, Pampered Chef is clever, candles and scrapbooking are fun, but wouldn't you like to do something a little different for your next Girl's Night? With 2-3 weeks notice we can plan a crafty get-together for four - eight guests (maybe more) with a project designed just for your group. You could sew a tote, weave a basket, or make some great beads. You could plan a baby shower and make a quilt for the baby together. We have no shortage of project ideas, so call Beth to schedule a big girls' playdate today!
